What is Blog Identity?

Written by admin on August 31, 2007 – 10:38 am -

To sum it up, a blog identity is what characterizes a blog. In that aspect, it is difficult to be consistent due to the ease of scrapping in a typical Korean blog. If you look at a typical Korean menu category, you can easily see a variety of unrelated themes put together. A composite identity as such can only be deemed worthless like a personal harddrive.

One cuisine per dish should be served.

After all, an effort to put everything on one dish is a provider centered way of thinking and it centainly won’t be welcomed by a netizen nor a search engine robot. A Chinese seafood noodle,a low-cost yet a popular food, can be looked at the same way. If we look at the process of how a netizen visits a certain blog, it often concludes to a certain search kerword, wanting to find out more in-depth contents about that keyword. But in a blogger’s case, rather than developing or creating on a certain keyword, it is much easier to scrap a popular high ranked exciting contents and post it to just raise the visitor’s clicks, instead of targeting a specific quality audience.

But just how effective are those clicks, web traffic?

As corporates will be more segmented and refined customers will seek more personal encounter, a blogger must unify various genres to be remembered by the consumers for the sake of blog identity. In conclusion, it is most desirable to administer multiple blogs to the best of our extent.

Also, a power of identity is ultimately in “the difference”.

It is critical factor to develop unique contents in a Korean Internet infrastructure. “Scraping” culture, standarized contents and the contents such as corporate advertising and marketing dominates today’s web environment but a consumer can see through it as well as possess means to judge it precisely and unsympathetically. If you track a single keyword, the results confirm that the valuable contents are created by only a few and that the majority are focusing on spreading it. In this aspect, a Korean web contents market is kept by standardized, similar contents which in contrasts elevates the value of creative content’s value.

Most importantly, associating the blog identity to a simple keyword and consistently maintaining and building an in-depth contents around that identity, is the shortcut to building a blog of utmost value.

A competitive blog is an asset?

Written by admin on August 27, 2007 – 11:01 pm -

In very near future, there will come a time blog becomes an asset and brand. Modern Internet technology cannot cope with human minds yet technology development will ultimately bring equilibrium to all Internet related machinery. In other words, all technological competitiveness of the end products will begin to disappear, just as the personal computers of the modern day market, it will lose its value as a tool used at appropriate times. In the beginning, there were debates on brands whether Sambo is better or Samsung is better. Yet as of today, only the parts specs exist and brands are only considered in getting after service.

Then what’s going to happen in future? Current Internet related hardware manufacturers or those with specialized internet related technologies are expected to face tougher competition. And if they develop a closed algorithm that would generate added value, one can expect alienation from globalization, an open source encampment, therefore leading to an eventual downfall. What’s important is it will become increasingly difficult for a small venture firm to enter the competitive market where an assembly of global enterprises form a tight alliance. A scale economy will eventually rule the Internet where open sources and global standards will be a majority.

Nowadays, one may easily see a technology, programs or a hardware seizes the market in limited time and looses its place. This enables to draw from it that the cycle becomes increasingly faster and it’s a concept of renting than a concept of owning. Let us return to the topic on blog.

Looking at the possibilities, would it be advantageous to develop a high technology or an install-type blog? Or would it be better to come up with blog contents.

One can definitely see pros and cons, but platforms, technologies and equipments will be quick to face extinction and even quicker that various competitive products will be introduced to the market. Those platforms, technologies and equipments that we produce are bound to face patent charges anytime unless they are part of a large corporation. And of course you can presume the road to merchandising a product isn’t going to be easy at all. Already, you can see a variety of competitive products in the market and it is very difficult to generate an added value in such an environment.

But if you turn your eyes to blog contents, the possibilities are endless. There are many products, looking at firms with lesser marketing budget, which a 90% are likely to fail. And then the manufacturers realize the just making a good product isn’t the only business. But in reality there’s no way out of it. In this aspect, blog contents exercise tremendous influence. Only a few professional bloggers exist in today’s world, excluding the pure bloggers. Many enterprises are turning to Internet marketing because of the effective cost, especially and eventually blog marketing which shows an exceptional search results.

It is easily suggested that the characteristics of advertising and public relations are volatile. A corporate can spend enormous budget on marketing, yet when a person searches the internet to look for a product, the search results are only minimal and below par standards. In contrast a very well made blog contents are relatively permanent, reacts immediately to a particular keyword, a non amplified piece of information that remains subjective and non-commercial. When its numbers reach hundreds, it becomes the product’s biggest asset and brand.

Just think about it.
There are many mp3 players yet how many blogs are there that professionally specializes and provides various in-depth contents on mp3 players? And just think of the influence it can make when it is exposed as a top search results in search engines like google or naver whenever a word ‘mp3′ is searched.

Ultimately, a competitive blog as such will take control of the product longevity. And time will come where a serious M&A even disposal may be carefully considered.

Blog contents is the most powerful marketing tool and the greatest asset of the firm. Just unrecognized…

Contents Trend of a Blog Marketing

Written by admin on August 26, 2007 – 1:11 pm -

The most important aspect of a blog marketing is the contents it provides. Blog contents, unlike other web pages, should ideally be clear on topic and make efforts to unite the relationship between the subject matter and its provider. In fact, it is critical to remain subjective as a direct stroyteller. Remeber this separates a blog from other web pages that are ambiguous on its subjects, showing a different perspective.

Especially, a subjective posting written by a blogger’s standpoint happens to be more realistic and highly regarded when compared to that of a reporter. In the process, we must make efforts to let ‘Youself’ be known and branding ‘youself’ at the same time. Those blogger with the unique point of view will arise as a formidable power in the internet space.

By observing the growth of new media such as ‘oh my news”, a such personalization will become the new global trend. Its significane lies in the fact that a person’s value is reflected over the value of a group. A blogger can provide a unique contents depending on their interests and in doing so a communcation with the consumer will be of utmost importance. To be recognized by consumers as a valuable source, a blogger must show the ability to handle various situations including intense discussions with others which will actually help to improve that relationship.

Importantly, rather than an objective approach, by subjectively refinding its contents, one can demonstrate his value priorities as well as his ability to handle various situations then overall gets assessed by consumers. This assessment can show immediately depending on the public option or take time. But in progress, the various contents that are collected in doing so will become your living portfolio and expand infinitely in value over a vast web space.

A talk show is one of the fast evolving programs on TV. The point of a talk show is that its measure of communicative effectiveness is the key to the success of the program. Especially the vocabulary used today, compared to 5 years ago, has diversified. I was impressed with HoDong Kang, a TV talk show host, who appropriately uses distinctive local accents and unique gestures to effectively get the message across. Being a great communicator, HoDong Kang, is treated well with respect unlike others that plays with mere words. This differentiation he achieved enabled him to stand out from the crowd.

Our interest is not in the obvious, predictable future.
Its plot is so easy to predict. Instead we love, analyze, discuss and put meanings to movies where it is hard to predict.

A competitive blog contents must:

1. Have a unique story with a personal point of view. (No scraps if possible)
2. Have a higher standard of communication by equipping dynamic multi-medias, utilizing various hardware and web platform and be sensitive to have a professional level of techniques of expression.

A person must become converged first.
